Your digital asset withdrawals may be banned for a few different reasons:
SIGN-IN FROM A FOREIGN IP
As a security measure, your digital assets will be suspended if we detect a sign-in from a new device. You will also receive an email with instructions to lift the suspension immediately. If no action is taken within 24 hours, your digital assets will automatically be re-enabled.
PENDING BANK TRANSFER (ACH)
For your convenience, Gemini has made pending Bank Transfers (ACH) immediately available for trading. Until these funds fully clear, your withdrawals will be temporarily disabled. You withdraw funds until they have been received on our end.
A Bank Transfer (ACH) will take 4-5 business days for your financial institution to confirm the funds are available to leave your account. During this time, your bank balance may reflect the deposited funds before this information has been communicated to Gemini.
Any deposit made before 5pm ET will be submitted to your bank on the same day, and any deposit made after 5pm ET will be submitted to your bank at 5pm ET the following business day.
Note: a "business day" does not include weekends or US federal holidays.
RETURNED BANK TRANSFER (ACH)
In the event that your Bank Transfer (ACH) is unsuccessful, we will email you detailing the reason(s) why the deposit was returned to your bank. Please note, after any Bank Transfer (ACH) return, we will require a wire transfer to both unfreeze your account and bring it back to good standing. To do this, you will need to link your bank account to your Gemini profile to send a wire.
