I have a new phone (I have the same phone number) but my token isn’t appearing in my Authy app
First, head to Authy Creation page to reinstall the Authy app on your device after uninstalling.
Once installed, the Authy app will prompt you to enter your phone number (the same number registered with your Gemini account). Authy will send you an SMS text message with a code to enter into the Authy app and the Gemini token should re-appear shortly.
If you don’t receive the text, your token does not reappear or you’re still experiencing issues, please reset your account at Authy Reset page.
I have a new phone number
Before we can make any changes to the phone number verified your Gemini account, we’ll need you to update your phone number with Authy, our authentication provider.
Head to Authy Change page to start the process. There could be a waiting process with Authy, but they will follow up with confirmation once your phone number has been successfully updated.
Once you have confirmation, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your new phone number and we can update that for you! Just so you are aware, we are unable to accept phone numbers from VOIP or prepaid phone providers such as Cricket Wireless, Metro PCS and Boost Mobile.
