Unfortunately, any fund transfers that are initiated from the name of whom you share this bank account with will be rejected by our bank. All transfers in your Gemini account must be initiated in your name to your account.
However, if you wish to transfer funds in the name of whom who share your bank account with, we recommend you add this user as an administrator to your account to prevent any rejected transfers in the future. Here are the steps to complete this:
- Navigate to the ‘User Management’ page
- You will be prompted to add an email address and select an account level (for an explanation of all account levels, click the question mark icon next to the words “Account Level”)
- Once complete, click the “Add User” button to add this user to your account
